Comming soon, L2TEK will be demonstrating the new Sunlike intelligent OLED switch, with onboard microcontroller and DC-DC converter. That means you can interface simply via parallel, serial, I2C and 4 wire SPI, and you don't have to start designing the OLED power supply.
