L2tek at IBC 2026 Amsterdam Rai Hall 10 B10

Join L2Tek at IBC 2026

Once again, we’re looking forward to IBC and the opportunity to meet customers, partners and friends from across the broadcast and Pro-AV industries.

This year we’ll be bringing together an even broader selection of technologies on the L2Tek stand, with live demonstrations covering SMPTE ST 2110, SDI, JPEG XS, HDMI, USB extension, 25GbE optical networking and IP video.

With representatives from many of our technology partners joining us in Amsterdam, there will also be plenty of expertise on hand to discuss your latest projects and applications.

Here’s a preview of what you can expect to see.

Semtech

This year, Semtech will be demonstrating the production versions of its UEX1000 and UEX2000 USB 2.0 extension products.

Part of Semtech’s SDVoE ecosystem, the devices offer high-performance USB 2.0 extension alongside HDMI over IP, with compatibility with the BlueRiver API providing a unified approach to system control. Their high-speed USB capability makes them particularly suitable for applications including video transfer, peripheral sharing and high-speed file transfer.

We’re also very pleased to be previewing the new GS12270 HDMI-to-SDI bridge, the successor to the extremely popular GS12170. Evaluation platforms for both HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI applications will be on display, with Semtech experts available to discuss the device’s improved performance and signal-handling capabilities.

Embrionix

With its latest firmware, the Embrionix EB82SOC1 continues to provide an exceptionally compact and proven platform for SMPTE ST 2110 and JPEG XS product development.

L2Tek will once again join forces with Bluebell Opticom to demonstrate the EB82SOC1 and show how the same core technology can be deployed either as an OEM component within your own product design or as part of a ready-to-use Bluebell solution.

It’s a great opportunity for anyone considering a new ST 2110 or JPEG XS design to see the technology operating live and discuss the different integration options.

BiFrost

We’re also excited to be demonstrating BiFrost’s innovative 25GbE optical technology at IBC 2026.

BiFrost has developed a novel approach to high-speed optical transport, including 25G quasi-coherent DWDM SFP technology, providing an interesting new option for increasing fibre capacity while retaining the simplicity and flexibility of pluggable optical transceivers.

Our live demonstration will use a 25GbE SMPTE ST 2110 link, allowing visitors to see the technology operating with real broadcast video traffic and examine the optical and Ethernet link characteristics in real time.

For anyone looking at higher-capacity fibre links, ST 2110 infrastructure or alternatives to conventional high-speed optical transport, this should be a particularly interesting demonstration.

DekTec

IBC 2026 marks our first year officially representing DekTec, and we’re delighted to be joining in the company’s 25th anniversary celebrations.

DekTec has had a particularly busy year, with several important new hardware and software developments being demonstrated at IBC. Highlights include:

  • Unreal Engine integration with DekTec’s SDI product range for virtual-set applications, including a live demonstration.
  • Brazilian DTV+ modulation and MIMO transmission using the DTA-2117, with real-time video and audio decoding through a third-party MIMO set-top box.
  • DAB+ modulation and analysis using DekTec hardware and software.
  • The new DTE-3120B, an updated version of the DTE-3120 adding SRT support.
  • The first prototype of the DTA-2150, a dual-port 25GbE SmartNIC designed for SMPTE ST 2110 applications.

We’ll also be demonstrating DekTec technology on the L2Tek stand, while the full range of new developments can be seen on the DekTec stand in Hall 2, B.49.

Cambridge Electronics Industries

Cambridge Electronics Industries will be showcasing the latest additions to its broadcast connectivity portfolio.

Alongside new and innovative products from its well-established SDI video connector range, Cambridge will be showing examples of its cable assemblies, audio connectors and lighting connectors.

Members of the Cambridge marketing and development teams will be at IBC and available to discuss both standard products and specific application requirements.

Gigalight

We’re delighted that Gigalight will be attending IBC in person again this year.

For many of our customers who use Gigalight Ethernet transceivers, IBC provides a rare opportunity to meet the people behind the products and discuss the latest developments in high-speed optical transceivers and data-centre interconnect technology.

A selection of Gigalight products will be available to discuss on the L2Tek stand, and visitors can also meet the Gigalight team on their own stand in Hall 2, B.10.

NxVi Technologies

Alongside its own stand in Hall 2, C.13, NxVi technology will feature in our live demonstrations on the L2Tek stand.

We’re particularly pleased to have been loaned the new THEIA V1, NxVi’s powerful ST 2110 converter offering four channels of 4K capability.

The unit will form part of our live IP demonstration, providing an opportunity to see the platform in operation and discuss how NxVi’s technology can be incorporated into ST 2110 workflows.

BHV Broadcast

Meet SportsBox on the L2Tek stand – BHV Broadcast’s remarkably compact remote switcher and format processor.

Designed to bring flexibility and portability to high-action, multi-camera productions, SportsBox can transport four camera signals over a single video path, including 5G and COFDM links. At the production end, all four camera feeds remain independently available for live viewing and mixing, with 4K 60p 4:2:2 video supported throughout the workflow.

It’s a clever solution to a very real remote-production problem, and one that’s much easier to appreciate when you see it working.

Come and see us in Amsterdam

Representatives from all of the companies above will be attending IBC, giving visitors to the L2Tek stand direct access to a considerable range of technical expertise.

And, of course, the L2Tek team will be there throughout the show to discuss products from across our supplier portfolio, talk through your latest projects and take you around our live demonstrations.

IBC 2026 takes place from 11–14 September at the RAI Amsterdam.

You’ll find L2Tek in Hall 10, Stand B.10.

Have a safe journey, and we look forward to seeing you in Amsterdam!
