Hornet Voltage Regulator
Hornet family of non-isolated board mounted switching regulators are easy to use, fully integrated power modules for demanding industrial conditions. With highly accurate output voltage setting, high efficiency, exceptional power density, extended temperature range for extreme environments and proven high reliability, Hornet switching voltage regulators are well suited for industrial applications.
Hornet series includes step-down/buck regulators that deliver 11 to 108W maximum power and step-up/boost regulators that deliver 65W maximum power.
The RESILIENT 3000 power supply has extremely robust capability yet is easy to use, economical and has low up-front cost. Featuring high-density, ruggedized enclosure, it features an oversize high reliability fan, conformal coating and it is designed to operate over a wide temperature range. It can function either as a stand-alone power supply or it can be connected in parallel with other power supplies and managed by RS485.
Feature-set flexibility makes this power supply an excellent choice for applications requiring operation over a wide output-voltage range or for charging batteries. The GP Power Line is a family of high power rectifier modules for embedded applications or distributed power systems. The GP series utilized the most compact power trains in 6kW and up with 54Vdc output.

High Power Barracuda
The High Power Barracuda family offers digital control and full-regulation in a DOSA compliant footprint. These PMBus equipped DC-DC bus converters are designed to support 9.6V to 12Vdc intermediate bus applications where multiple low voltages are subsequently generated using point of load (POL) converters. The converters can also be used in other applications requiring a tightly regulated output voltage.
Low Power Barracuda
The Low Power Barracuda family offers isolated DC-DC converters that are cost competitive and have optimum efficiency. These modules deliver up to 120W at a precisely regulated output voltage over a wide range input voltage from 36-75Vin. These products are used to power communication equipment, distributed power, intermediate bus architectures, the latest integrated circuits and microprocessors.
The Hammerhead Series offer an ultra-wide input voltage range from 18 to 75Vdc with Total Efficiency* architecture technology that reduces power loss up to 50%. These products are designed for extreme temperature conditions of -40deg C to 85deg C and are cost-effective modules for medical, military and other industrial applications.
The Orca series is a family of isolated DC-DC fully regulated, board-mounted power amplifier modules. The series is designed to significantly lower costs and boost energy efficiency for cellular base stations, remote radio heads, distributed antenna systems and WiMAX controllers.
ATCA PIM Modules
The PIM400 series of Power Input Modules are designed to greatly simplify the task of implementing dual redundant, hot swap -48Vdc power distribution with EMI filtering on an ATCA or other telecom boards. The PIM400 with optional I2C digital interface capability, when used with a variety of GE’s series of Bus converters (BarracudaTM Series) /POLs (DLynxTM Series) provides for a quick, simple and elegant power solution to a wide variety of demanding & intelligent power system architectures.
The BoostLynx* family of four products (65W and 130W with High Voltage and Low Voltage versions), provides voltage step-up from an input voltage of 8-16Vdc to an output voltage of 16-34Vdc or 32-54Vdc. Boost PoLs are suitable for a wide range of electronic products where some components require higher voltage than the typical 12Vbus. For example, cellular small cell remote radio head (RRH). Boost PoLs can also be used to step up an existing 12V bus to a 24V or 48Vbus.
The advanced digital DLynx II* family of non-isolated Point of Load (POL) DC-DC board-mounted power modules brings an expanded set of industry-standard PMBus** commands, increased performance and power handling ranges to the digital POL world. With highly accurate digital telemetry, space-saving Digital Tunable Loop* technology and exceptional current density, the DLynx II family gives designers the tools to quickly take advantage of the latest high performance, high current digital power converters.
The new standards-based DLynx* family of non-isolated Point of Load (POL) DC-DC board-mounted power modules are available in DOSA-based digital and analog versions. An industry-standard PMBus** interface and space-saving Tunable Loop* technology deliver industry-leading current density of 9.0 A/cm2.
The DualDLynx* Series are non-isolated Point of Load (POL) DC-DC board-mounted power module products, offering an industry-leading 30 percent reduction in board space over previous and competing solutions. The new power modules include the PMBUS** interface for digital configuration, communication and control, as well as adaptive voltage scaling for power reduction. They also incorporate Tunable Loop* technology deliver leading current density for a broad range of applications including data communications, telecommunications, storage, industrial, medical, and military infrastructure equipment. The modules offer OEMs a high density solution to using two lower amperage parts as well as a significant size advantage to minimize the use of board space during manufacturing.
The ProLynx* family of DC-DC converters accelerates speed to market by reducing design cycle for applications requiring a wide input voltage tolerance. These high efficiency, superior thermal derating modules operate over an ultra-wide input range of 9-36Vin and provide a precisely regulated output voltage ranging from 3.0 – 18Vdc, programmable via an external resistor. Ruggedized (-D) versions are capable of operating in extremely high temperature environments up to 105deg C and withstand higher levels of shock and vibration (MIL STD 810F).
The SlimLynx* power modules are slim non-isolated dc-dc converters in a low profile 2.9mm height. These modules operate over a wide range of input voltage and provide a precisely regulated output voltage from 0.45 to 5.5Vdc, programmable via an external resistor and PMBus control.
The TLynx* family of non-isolated DC-DC modules is the 3rd generation of world class point-of-load (POL) converters. These high efficiency, superior thermal derating modules operate over a wide range of input voltages from 2.4 to 16Vdc and provide a precisely regulated output voltage ranging from 0.59Vdc to 8Vdc, programmable via an external resistor. Modules offer class-leading transient response and current density. The highest current modules (30A & 50A) are also parallelable for increased expandability.
The Naos Raptor* series of power modules are non-isolated SIP (single in-line package) DC-DC converters that can deliver up to 60A of output current. These modules operate over a wide range of input voltage (4.5-14Vdc) and provide a precisely regulated output voltage from 0.59Vdc up to 6.0 Vdc, programmable via an external resistor.
